Hants County Express uses customer information only for account access, prepaid courier bookings, delivery updates, proof photos, receipts, invoices, customer service, driver dispatch, and required business records.

Information We Collect

Customer name, company name, email address, phone number, and account login details.
Pickup and drop-off names, addresses, towns, contact details, notes, item descriptions, additional stops, and requested delivery information.
Payment status, receipt/invoice details, coupons, refunds, tips, and accounting records.
Driver GPS progress only while an accepted delivery is active and live tracking is running.
Pickup, additional stop, and drop-off proof photos uploaded by admin or drivers for delivery documentation.
Email notification logs showing whether delivery updates, password resets, and account notices were sent.

How We Use Information

We use this information to create accounts, calculate delivery rates, process prepaid bookings, send delivery notifications, provide live tracking, show proof photos, issue receipts and invoices, manage driver assignments, calculate commissions, support refunds, and protect customers, drivers, and Hants County Express during disputes.

Payments

Online card payments are processed through Square. Hants County Express stores payment status and transaction references, but does not store full card numbers on this website.

Email Notifications

We use the email settings configured in the admin area, including Elastic Email when enabled, to send password resets, welcome emails, delivery updates, proof photo notices, receipts, and operational notices.

Cookies & Essential Sessions

The website uses essential cookies/session storage to keep users logged in, protect forms, remember privacy preferences, and allow customers, drivers, and admins to securely use their dashboards. Optional analytics or marketing uses may be declined where offered.

Data Sharing

Delivery information may be visible to the customer, assigned driver, and authorized administrators. We may also use service providers such as Square and Elastic Email to process payments and send notifications. We do not sell customer delivery information.
