When we started Hants County Express, the idea came from something very simple: our smaller towns and communities deserved better access to same-day delivery.
Living in Hants County and the surrounding area, we saw a gap. If you live in a larger city, getting something delivered quickly can be fairly easy. But once you get outside those larger centres, the options become much more limited.
We wanted to help change that.
Bridging the Gap Between Our Communities
Hants County Express was created to connect the smaller towns and communities throughout our service area with the businesses, stores, pharmacies, suppliers and other places they depend on.
Sometimes what you need simply can't wait several days.
It might be an auto part needed to get a vehicle back on the road. It could be an important prescription or health-related item, a product from a local business, documents, tools, supplies, merchandise or something else you need brought from one community to another.
Our goal is simple:
Get it there today.
We wanted to provide a professional courier service that is reasonably priced, straightforward to use and designed around the communities we actually serve.
Same-Day Delivery — With Rush Service When You Need It
Not every delivery is equally urgent. That's why Hants County Express offers regular same-day delivery as well as a Rush option for a small additional fee when time matters even more.
Our system is designed to look at the delivery, available drivers, their locations and the actual trip involved so that customers can receive realistic delivery options.
Whether something needs to travel across town or between communities, we want people to have an alternative to simply hearing, “You'll have to wait until tomorrow.”
Built Here, for the Communities Around Us
Hants County Express isn't about trying to turn small communities into big cities.
It's about giving the people and businesses living in those communities access to a level of convenience that has traditionally been much easier to find in larger urban areas.
From Hants County through Windsor, Mount Uniacke, Ardoise, Lower Sackville, Halifax, Dartmouth, Wolfville and the communities throughout our service corridor, we're working to make same-day local delivery practical and accessible.
We're just getting started, and we're looking forward to growing alongside the communities we serve.
